Cognition, 3 Month's Supply.

All products within the Elyse Inc.'s Nootropic collection have been designed with the intention of positively supporting normal mental performance, mood, clarity and focus.

Caffeine and L-Theanine

Elyse INC.’s Cognition features caffeine from Green tea Extract and Guarana seed extract yielding a combined caffeine dosage of 11.65mg/capsule.

In isolation, caffeine is able to promote wakefulness and alertness, however it can also result in outcomes such as restlessness, anxiety and jittering. When Caffeine is combined with Theanine. the productivity and creativity-enhancing benefits of caffeine remain and the potential negative effects are subsided by L-theanine’s capacity to promote relaxation without sedation.

Choline is a precursor for acetylcholine, a neurotransmitter that performs many key functions in the brain, particularly in memory and learning, in alertness and in sustaining attention. Cognition features Choline Bitartrate at 41.09mg/ capsule, which has been synergistically formulated with Amino acids L-Taurine, L-Carnitine, L-Arginine and precursor to neurotransmitter norepinephrine, L-Tyrosine. Norepinephrine is depleted in times of stress and Tyrosine can help to replenish the cognitive resources needed for working memory.

Piperine is featured within Elyse Inc Nootropic Cognition at 2.38 mg/ capsule. Piperine is the active ingredient found in black pepper and offers the ability to increase the level of absorption of other nutrients within the body. Within Cognition, Piperine enhances the bioavailability of ingredients such as Coenzyme Q10 and Vitamins B6 and B12, which have been scientifically proven to contribute to normal energy-yielding metabolism, normal psychological function and to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue.

Studies to date are indicative that Piperine may be able to improve both serotonin and dopamine levels, helping individuals to experience more positive feelings.  The natural bio-enhancer may improve the neurotransmission of such chemicals, which both play an important role in memory. In addition to supporting memory, Piperine may also boost other executive functions, such as concentration levels, attention and motivation.

Phosphatidylserine was discoved by Jordi Folch and Howard A. Schneider in 1941 and first grew in popularity in Europe. Thanks to clinical trials conducted in Italy, word of its effectiveness as a memory enhancement quickly spread to the rest of the world, leading to its current state as a much sought after nootropic.

Phosphatidylserine is an aminophospholipid, which protects and carries messages between the cells in the brain.  It plays an important role in keeping the mind and memory sharp by offering neuroprotective properties which can support cognitive function. This can come in several different forms, most predominantly in the learning process. With Phosphatidylserine as part of the diet, one study has shown that individuals may be able to increase the rate at which they are able to make calculations, whilst also improving their overall accuracy in getting information right. These results have been  most notable during moments of fatigue.

In the realm of memory, research suggests that Phosphatidylserine can help with the symptoms of cognitive decline, helping people recall information more quickly. Part of what may explain this benefit is the nutrient’s role in the production of acetylcholine.  Increased quantities of acetylcholine may help to enhance memory, improved learning and greater accuracy.

Phosphatidylserine may also help to enhance other supplements which positively impact the brain such as Ginko Biloba. Cognition features Gingko Biloba extract alongside Guarana Extract.  These nutrients have been shown to reduce mental and physical fatigue and may have the ability to positively support energy levels, mood, memory and focus.

Elyse INC.'s Cognition is a food supplement and the recommended dose is 2 capsules per day. Cognition's outer capsule shell is derived from Vegetable Cellulose. Exceeding the recommended dose is not advised.
